CO-VALUE illustrated at EU Knowledge Valorisation Talks, organised by EUROPEAN COMMISSION.

CO-VALUE was recently featured in the EU Knowledge Valorisation Talks, an online series organised by the European Commission to highlight best practices in transforming research into societal and economic value. These sessions bring together research and innovation actors from across Europe to exchange ideas, showcase tested approaches, and explore emerging trends in knowledge valorisation. 

The featured session focused on how research-driven spin-offs and startups can be supported in their transition from lab to market. CO-VALUE contributed by presenting its innovative approach to citizen engagement for Knowledge Valorisation as a powerful strategy to enhance the uptake of research results and to strengthen connections between companies, universities, public institutions, and civil society. 

Esteban Pelayo, Director of the Alicante Science Park (PCA) and project partner, participated in person in Brussels to represent CO-VALUE. He shared how PCA, as a dynamic innovation ecosystem, connects innovative companies with the university and promotes strategic cooperation for knowledge valorisation through the development of knowledge transfer mechanisms and the creation and scaling of deep tech spin-offs. 

This participation provided a key opportunity to raise the visibility of CO-VALUE at the European level and reinforce the importance of building bridges across the quadruple helix. By showcasing pilots cases and approach based on involving citizens for Knowledge Valorisation, CO-VALUE continues to demonstrate how inclusive innovation can fuel both business development and social impact.
