The first public experimentation session of the MOVERT project, part of the European Horizon CO-VALUE initiative promoted and managed by ART-ER together with Sticky DOT, Fondazione Giannino Bassetti and the Alicante Science Park, took place on Friday, 26 September 2025.

Set in the extraordinary CICLoPE lab – exceptionally opened to the public for Research Night – visitors had the opportunity to experience first-hand the future of urban flight: an immersive simulation aboard MOVERT, the drone designed for transporting people and goods in urban and regional scenarios.

Thanks to the advanced simulator – equipped with a seat, visor, and flight controls – the public were able to preview the potential of this innovative vertical take-off aerial mobility system.

The demonstration, organised with the support of ART-ER, researchers from the University of Bologna, and the Forlì Technopole, represents a concrete step towards the future of sustainable and intelligent mobility.

The event also provided an opportunity to present the results achieved so far by the CO-VALUE project, which aims to valorise innovation through direct citizen involvement and the co-creation of advanced technological solutions.

A clear example of how the CO-VALUE project facilitates the connection between research and civil society, engaging the local community and giving citizens a voice in an innovative and forward-looking project shaping the future of mobility.
