PROJECT MEETING IN BOLOGNA

CO-VALUE Project meeting held in Bologna on March 17-18 2026

On 17–18 March 2026, the last CO-VALUE project meeting took place in Bologna, hosted at Bologna Innovation Square (BIS), the metropolitan innovation platform supporting collaboration between public authorities, universities, businesses and research actors. Partners reviewed project progress and focused on the final phase of the co-valorisation experimentations, with particular attention to pilot activities in Emilia-Romagna and Alicante. Concrete examples, including the MOVERT and REMEDY projects, illustrated how citizen engagement approaches are being applied and the value they bring to innovation processes. The meeting also provided an opportunity to reflect on key lessons emerging from the experimentations, including enabling conditions for effective co-valorisation, as well as common challenges such as intellectual property management and resource needs. Looking ahead, discussions focused on the next steps of the project, including policy-oriented outputs, ongoing peer learning activities, and upcoming training sessions at European level.
